Class 4 has really enjoyed another fantastic art lesson with Mr Fox where they have extended their use of shading with some great results! Mr Hopegood:)

Class 4 has made great progress using a variety of strategies to support their maths. Why not ask them which is their favourite method.

We have had the first few pieces of the Space themed Creative Homework handed in and it’s the same fantastic high standard as before. The Space Helmet is modelled by our class skeleton. Mr Hopegood 🙂

Class 4 has been thinking about textures and colours to support a writing task tomorrow.

Each pupil has been handed their named weekly Literacy homework in class and there is a copy below, MyMaths has been updated and they have tasks set. Good luck. Mr Hopegood 🙂

This week Class 4 having been working on writing clear and accurate instructional texts, we have progressed from planning to drafts and will soon have completed work.

Class 4 have been revisiting and securing place value and decimals with the help of our student teacher Mr Nichols.

Our theme for this half term is Space and I hope that we get the same fantastic variety of brilliant homework as the pupils turned in for our Pirate theme ( Arrgh! ), please see the link below. Mr Hopegood

Our end to Safety Week was provided by the Firefighters from Tollesbury Station who spoke to the children about fire safety and demonstrated their kit in the playground. A very big thank you to them for taking the time to come and see us!

Most of Class 4 joined in our KS2 star gazing evening and were treated to views of Jupiter and Saturn through some amazing telescopes and an informative presentation on our Solar System. Lots of hot dogs and hot chocolate were consumed as well!
