Shadowy Figures

As the final part of our topic of Story Telling in Different Media we have been exploring Shadow Puppets and hope to have them complete with shows in class by Thursday.

Our Fantastic Science Coding Session

This morning the Year 5s learnt how to code and designed their own series of flashing LED lights. They did this through using crocodile clips, battery packs, a crumble, a sparkle and finally plugging it into a laptop to then input their codes. Miss White 🙂

Fantastic Year 5!

And Year 6 of course. The Year 5 assessment tests have just been completed and I am happy to say that their attitude and behaviour was brilliant. This afternoon we’ve thought more about planning shadow puppet stories and made Mothers Day cards.

Our Brilliant Creative Homework!

In addition to the fantastic Stop-Motion and Shakespeare scenes that we have been receiving on-line there has been a plethora of great written and artwork handed in and we’ve had a change of hall and Topic board to accommodate our persuasive writing project 🙂 Mr Hopegood

English and Maths in Class 4.

Today the class looked at source materials and made detailed notes to support their persuasive writing task and later on Year 6 supported Year 5 in peer marking their work on the perimeters of rectilinear shapes.

Class 4 growing and learning boundaries.
