On Friday, Class 2 began learning about the correct ways to jump and balance. Using some of our equipment, we recreated an assault course (referencing Jack crawling through the giants house from Jack and the Beanstalk) to help us practice those skills.
Recently, Year 3 & 4 had a wonderful trip to Colchester Castle. We learned all about the Celts and Romans, and Boudicca’s invasion of Colchester. Did you know that there is still a layer of ash underneath Colchester left over from the Iceni invasion that you can find if you dig down today?

Today in Class 3, we have been working on building our deck chair designs. We are pleased with the results we have had. I have sent home a form from Essex Library Services to be completed. This form will allow us to get library cards sorted for our children. With these we will be able to both use the library bus when available, and borrow e-books on the iPads in school. The children will also be able to… Read more »
