This afternoon Class 2 put their Microhabitat planning and designing into practice! They started to build and create their homely, safe and comfortable microhabitats for all sorts of weird and wonderful insects to visit and live in. Lovely learning Class 2.
On Wednesday, we were visited by Simon, a storyteller who regaled us with stories. Our children listened fantastically and learned a lot. Some of us even impressed him with our own storytelling! It was a fantastic day and we look forward to doing more of the same in the future.
We had a lovely afternoon this afternoon discussing what light means in different religions. We thought about what light reminded us of and made our own lanterns with our thoughts around the outside. We were very pleased with the results.

Recently for our writing session, we used iPads to draft sentence ideas. Previously, we had made up ocean creatures using ideas from creatures we already knew about. We tried to use conjunctions to improve our sentences. We will now start working on writing information pages about our creatures. Amazing effort Class 2!
