PTFA Panto!

Unfortunately not a Panto performed by the PTFA (though there’s always next year), Class 3 were lucky enough to watch the brilliant pants Cinderella. We were also provided with treats to have along with the the film. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Christmas dinner day!

Today we all put on our Christmas jumpers and celebrated with a fabulous Christmas dinner cooked by Maxine. It was wonderful, thank you Maxine. 

Our Christmas Alphabet

Today, all our hard work and rehearsals paid off as we put on a spectacular performance for Reverend Tracey, Mrs Burmby and Maxine. More photos to follow. A big well done to all the staff involved in putting this show together in the current circumstances. 

Class 3 Strictly Cheese!

Scary Spiders

This week the children wanted learn about spiders. We have learnt the spiders have two parts of their body so are different from insects. We also learnt that their silk is the strongest material in the world.  We made some scary spiders for our classroom.

Divide and Conquer

Today, we have been working on cementing our idea of division. We have been working on exchanging so we can share equally. It’s been gr at to see the correct language, such as exchanging and equally, being used naturally.

Tintin Writing

Today we are writing our own Tintin stories. We have built up to this over the last few weeks by working on the skills we need. This has included using mathematical nets to create our ow story dice. We look forward to sharing some of our writing and progress.

Multiplication Magic

This week we have made excellent progress in multiplication. Using different methods, we have managed to multiply much larger numbers than we though we ever could. Mr. Este, Mr. Manners and Mrs. Bevan have been very impressed indeed!
