PE!

Class one are beginning to learn hockey skills this half term in PE. We began this week by learning ball control.

This week, as part of our Maths learning, Class One took to the playground armed with some chalk and an eagerness to learn. Maths!

This morning, we had a lesson in maths to focus on key math terminology in preparation for their sats. This was lots of fun.

Dance

This afternoon class 4 were lucky enough to have a Dance Class. Who knew we had such good moves! 

Writing Roleplay

This morning we role played being on a 15th century ship. We scrubbed the deck, raised the sails and stacked the cannonballs. Some of us were captains and bossed everyone around. We then did some fabulous writing using the skills we had practised this week, including punctuation and using exciting verbs. Examples to follow

Class assembly

Today we shared our learning in our class assembly. Thank you to Mr Este, Mrs Richards and Mrs Maston for all their hard work and support.

Creative afternoon

This afternoon we spent some time adding further detail to out seascape pictures as inspired by Van Gogh and Monet. We then listened to music by Pentatonix and sang some pirate songs!

Obstacle course

Today in class one, we built a very tricky obstacle course. We had so much fun doing this and then being able to complete it afterwards.
