Talk for writing ping pong

Today we did some talk for writing in which we played a Ping pong style game in which we create a sentence by people saying one word at a time back and forth.​ ​​​​ ​

Arrays

Today in maths we drew arrays to solve multiplication problems. Some of us used our bodies to make arrays. What times table do you think we are trying to show?

Tennis

This morning we had a tennis taster session. It was great fun. We learnt lots of different skills to help us mov  our feet, watch the ball and find space.

Assembly

Today we showed some of our learning in our class assembly. We have been busy planning, writing and rehearsing as a team!

Reading buddies

Today, Class 4 shared stories with Class 1. The children really enjoyed this experience and we would like to do this activity again soon. 

Sequences

We continued our sequence work today. We used the 100 squares to help us spot the patterns, which we found easier than yesterday’s  multilink. Can you see the pattern? What do you think the next number will be?

100 Read Challenge

We have started a 100 read challenge. Each time one of our children reads at home and has their record signed, they get a tick and move along the chart.
