Today some of us wrote space poems using dramatic adjectives and personification. Here are some of our poems. Running yellow dust, Cheesy yellow planets, Walking light, Pitch black sky, Diamond blue lightni, Blood red lava.
This afternoon we chose partners between year groups to research and take notes on aspects of Ancient Egypt. It was a very productive afternoon and we found out a lot. It was great to share texts between readers of different abilities.
Today we read the story of Jesus feeding thousands with only 5 loaves and 2 fish! What a miracle! We then drew pictures, made models and wrote about the story. Here is some of our finished pieces!
Today we had lots of exciting fun with investing materials in science. We described lots of different types of materials such as plastics, metals and fabrics.
Class one have really been enjoying doing our golden mile, which is when we do multiple laps of the playground either running, jogging or walking. We love it so much that we even did it in the rain today!

Today we used our designs to make our own rockets. We used glue, tape and strips of paper to attach the boxes, bottles and tubes together to build our rockets.
