Kosher food

This afternoon we have been learning about Jewish beliefs. We found out about Kosher food and designed our own meal following the Jewish law of not mixing dairy with meat. What would you eat?

Bishop Stephen

Friendly

We have been talking about our school value – friendly. We thought about how to be friendly and how people feel when we are kind to them.

On Tuesday 7th November, Bishop Stephen visited our school. After arriving on a tractor, he captivated the children during Collective Worship and then enjoyed a tour around the school with the Holy Council. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Bishop Stephen and hope he can visit our school again one day!

Science – Nocturnal Animals

In our science we have been thinking about how the eye works. We conducted experiments to find out how our eyes work. Today we studied how other animals see in the dark. We studied four animals, owls, rabbits, moles and cats. We used goggles to represent what each animal can see.
